Community Work, New Zealand and Worldwide

Our community work is usually in small groups of people who have a desire to improve life skills related to personal journey and family life. They learn from the material, and their discussion with others, ways of improving themselves and their personal and family relationships.

We work in three distinct areas: the man/woman you are (manhood/womanhood), marriage & partnership, and parenthood. Many of those benefitting from the study have experienced dysfunctional family life, abuse, or a set of values and behaviours that have been unhelpful and created conflict.

The study is aimed at improving self-understanding in the context of biblical principles, improving or mending relationships with family, overcoming abuse, and looking for positive role models. Often it is about breaking a generational pattern or an unhelpful culture or norm. We seek to assist people to be a positive person, a loving partner/spouse, and a great parent.
